I stayed at this lodge for 6 weeks during my time in South Africa. It was the perfect place to relax between my trips to Cape Town and Kruger National Park. The hosts, Sander, Juliet, and Matimba, were amazing. Matimba's braai dinners were delicious, and Sander's safari knowledge was impressive. The rooms were lovely, and the property was a peaceful oasis with a pool. I even had the pleasure of seeing warthogs and beautiful birds right outside my window. Highly recommend!

    Totally recommend this hotel.

Nestled in a privat nature resort near a famous national park, this lodge offers an exceptional experience. the well-appointed rooms feature comfy beds, attractive ornaments, and modern amenities like aircon and minibar fridges. the bathrooms boast a bath, two showers, and two basins. the delicious breakfast buffet and dinner options are a culinary delight. You can even spot wild animals while exploring the lodge's surroundings during the day.

The rooms could benefit from a brighter lighting option for optimal illumination.

The wildlife estate was amazing, with animals like kudu, giraffe, and even leopard! It was such a unique experience to be able to wander around and see these animals up close. The lodge itself was beautiful, with a lovely pool and a fire pit that added a fantastic ambiance. The rooms were beautifully furnished, with comfy beds and a great shower. The toiletries provided were a nice touch. The food at the lodge was excellent, and the hosts, Sander and Juliette, were fantastic. Sander was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and gave great recommendations for places to eat and visit.

One thing to note is that the lodge felt more like a B&B rather than a full-service lodge. Dinner was not available without prior arrangement, which meant we had to drive to a restaurant.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, with all the necessary amenities provided. The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to nearby attractions and activities. I particularly enjoyed the friendly and attentive staff, who were always willing to assist with any requests or questions. The breakfast spread was tasty and offered a good variety of options.

The dinner options at the hotel were limited and required prior arrangement, which was not communicated to us beforehand. This was quite inconvenient, as we had to find alternative dining options outside of the hotel.

had a wonderful time at this serene and nature-filled lodge in Hoedspruit. The warm and welcoming hosts made us feel right at home, and the delicious food was a highlight. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We can't recommend this place enough!

Lukewarm welcome cloth was a minor disappointment.

The staff and owner were superb, incredibly knowledgeable about the area and provided excellent recommendations for activities. The food was incredible and the atmosphere was excellent. The lodge itself was beautifully decorated with African style and provided all the necessary amenities. The safari at Krügerpark was exactly as described and the owner was honest and charged us less than agreed upon. The mountain bike ride was an unforgettable experience, with sightings of wild animals.

Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

I stayed at this great little resort just outside of Hoedspruit, SA for a couple of days before going on safari. The owner was very friendly and helpful, even picking me up from the airport for a small fee. The breakfast was delicious and they also offered a fantastic dinner with a traditional outdoor Braai. The rooms were nicely decorated in an African theme and the bathrooms were spacious. I loved seeing the animals that wandered around the property!

Delicious breakfast and exceptional "braai" dinner

Owners are directly involved, providing exceptional service delivery. Owners went out of their way to make the stay great, even doing research on a plant and sending the information afterwards. - Owners are sympathetic and kind, making guests comfortable and enjoying the Safari adventure. - Beautiful rooms with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. - Swimming pool is very nice. - Game area right next door allows for animal sightings. - Optional dinner is highly recommended, with Sander as a skilled "Braaimaster" and Juliet and her kitchen staff serving delicious food. - Owners were helpful and made the trip special with information and personal service. - Reasonable cost for transportation and day trip arrangements by the owner. - Warm welcome and great cooking from Juliet. - Enjoyable evenings around the fire with no light or noise pollution. - Excellent value for money

Felt extremely welcome, no complaints at all

The lodge is conveniently located in a wildlife estate, allowing for a close encounter with zebras, monkeys, and deer. the decor of the lodge is described as lovely, with comfortable beds and a quiet atmosphere. Guests appreciate the huge selection of toiletries and the friendly hosts who provide lots of helpful tips for outings.

The welcome-damp-cloth could have been hot rather than cold.

The breakfast at the hotel was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. the hotel's location was ideal, as it was conveniently close to both the national park and the town, making it easy to explore the area.

One major drawback of this hotel was the uncomfortable beds, which were set on concrete. This made it difficult to get a good night's sleep and left us waking up with aches and pains.

As young people, we absolutely loved the location of this place! Being in a closed estate with wild animals roaming around made our stay so cool and exciting.

Felt happy, no reason to complain.
