I stayed at this lodge for 6 weeks during my time in South Africa. It was the perfect place to relax between my trips to Cape Town and Kruger National Park. The hosts, Sander, Juliet, and Matimba, were amazing. Matimba's braai dinners were delicious, and Sander's safari knowledge was impressive. The rooms were lovely, and the property was a peaceful oasis with a pool. I even had the pleasure of seeing warthogs and beautiful birds right outside my window. Highly recommend!
Totally recommend this hotel.

You can even spot wild animals while exploring the lodge's surroundings during the day.
The rooms could benefit from a brighter lighting option for optimal illumination.

The wildlife estate was amazing, with animals like kudu, giraffe, and even leopard! It was such a unique experience to be able to wander around and see these animals up close. The lodge itself was beautiful, with a lovely pool and a fire pit that added a fantastic ambiance. The rooms were beautifully furnished, with comfy beds and a great shower. The toiletries provided were a nice touch. The food at the lodge was excellent, and the hosts, Sander and Juliette, were fantastic. Sander was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and gave great recommendations for places to eat and visit.
One thing to note is that the lodge felt more like a B&B rather than a full-service lodge. Dinner was not available without prior arrangement, which meant we had to drive to a restaurant.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, with all the necessary amenities provided. The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to nearby attractions and activities. I particularly enjoyed the friendly and attentive staff, who were always willing to assist with any requests or questions. The breakfast spread was tasty and offered a good variety of options.
The dinner options at the hotel were limited and required prior arrangement, which was not communicated to us beforehand. This was quite inconvenient, as we had to find alternative dining options outside of the hotel.

The staff and owner were superb, incredibly knowledgeable about the area and provided excellent recommendations for activities. The food was incredible and the atmosphere was excellent. The lodge itself was beautifully decorated with African style and provided all the necessary amenities. The safari at Krügerpark was exactly as described and the owner was honest and charged us less than agreed upon. The mountain bike ride was an unforgettable experience, with sightings of wild animals.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

I stayed at this great little resort just outside of Hoedspruit, SA for a couple of days before going on safari. The owner was very friendly and helpful, even picking me up from the airport for a small fee. The breakfast was delicious and they also offered a fantastic dinner with a traditional outdoor Braai. The rooms were nicely decorated in an African theme and the bathrooms were spacious. I loved seeing the animals that wandered around the property!

The lodge is conveniently located in a wildlife estate, allowing for a close encounter with zebras, monkeys, and deer. the decor of the lodge is described as lovely, with comfortable beds and a quiet atmosphere. Guests appreciate the huge selection of toiletries and the friendly hosts who provide lots of helpful tips for outings.
The welcome-damp-cloth could have been hot rather than cold.

The breakfast at the hotel was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. the hotel's location was ideal, as it was conveniently close to both the national park and the town, making it easy to explore the area.
One major drawback of this hotel was the uncomfortable beds, which were set on concrete. This made it difficult to get a good night's sleep and left us waking up with aches and pains.
